Packet pickup is at the FootZone (842 NW Wall Street, Bend, Oregon 97703) on Saturday March 2nd, from 10am-5:00pm. Our race staff appreciates you picking up your bib at the store, please email if you need special accommodations.  We will offer day of race packet pick-up starting at 7:30 am at the start/finish area.

Can I pick up a packet for my friend/spouse/running partner?

Yes, but please know their details. Name/date of birth.

When do I start? Will there be waves?

Race begins at 9am sharp- we will start with ONE wave. We ask you to self select your starting location based on your estimated pace- your time will begin once you cross the start line.

    Where is the start?

The start line is at Maston trailhead off Newcomb Road.~ 20135 Newcomb Rd, Redmond, OR 97756

Where do I park on race day? Can you accommodate ADA parking?

The best place to park is at Maston Trailhead, please follow the directions of our race staff/parking folks. Please DO NOT park along Newcomb Road. Please KEEP tires on gravel, do NOT park in natural areas.

    Are spectators allowed?

There is plenty of space for friends and family at the start/finish area. Our sponsors will also be on-site, be sure to check them out. We ask you avoid having spectators go out on course as there is not much space on many of the single track segments. This is NOT a closed course and while we have alerted the mountain biking community of a high use time, please be courteous and share the trail should you encounter bikers or other trail users while out on course.

How many aid stations will there be and what is available?

There are TWO aid stations. One ~ 4.25 miles with Water and Gu gels.  The second aid station is at approximately 8 miles, we will have water and electrolytes here. In an effort to be more environmentally conscious we are trying to minimize our trash and use of single serving cups— please consider carrying a re-usable cup.

Will there be cups at aid stations?

Yes, While we appreciate everyone using a re-useable cup we’ll have cups of water available. We want to minimize our impact and let’s face it, its tough to haul additional garbage in/out so if you can carry your own cup we’d sure appreciate it. On that note, please dispose of any personal trash at an aid station, if you see an errant wrapper consider picking it up =)

    What is the time limit?

We ask that anyone who believes it will take them longer than 2.75 hours (16:30 min/mile) to notify us in advance to make special arrangements to fully enjoy your experience.

Will there be medical assistance on the course?

YES! Adventure Medics will be on-site and roving the course on mountain bikes to assist if something unforeseen happens. They will be on hand to locate, treat and transport you should you face an emergency. It is always quickest for them to find you and deliver help if you can make it to an aid station.

Are there bathrooms on the course?

No, The porta-potties at the start/finish area is your best bet.

What will be at the finish line?

We’re excited to once again offer Longboard Louie’s burritos at the finish line. We’ll have water/electrolytes and beer by our Sponsor Cascade Lakes Brewing. PLEASE BRING/CARRY YOUR ID so you can join us in the post-race Beer garden

    Will there be awards?

We’ll have a brief awards ceremony recognizing the top 3 overall Women and Men as well as the top 3 Masters Men and Women!

Can I run with my dog?

While we love our furry friends, dogs ARE NOT ALLOWED on the course with registered participants.

    Can I run with music/headphones?

We ask that you consider wearing only one earbud and keeping volume low such that you can hear safety instructions and be aware of other trail runners/users on course.
